On July 10th, at approximately 7 pm PST, ImageShack’s services were compromised by a hacking group. Within a minute, our security systems had identified suspicious activity. We learned that the group had gained control of how images were being displayed. Before 9 pm PST, normal functionality had been restored to user images. No user data or content was damaged or lost.
Only a fraction of Imageshack’s servers were affected, so we were able to isolate and remove the issue very quickly. We are actively conducting a full audit of our security measures and hardening our systems. If you are experiencing difficulty with any of our services or would like to reach our team directly for any reason, please contact us anytime at ImageShack Support

ImageShack has been hosting your media since 2003. Please be assured that the security of your images and videos is our top priority, and we are taking necessary steps to ensure your media is secure.

Remove images by clicking on the ‘X’ button (red) next to the image thumbnail you want to delete.
More on image options see: Imageshack Image Options
How to delete multiple images:
1. Click on the images you would like deleted to select them. (you can browse though multiple pages in your account and select images from multiple pages, when deleting all selected image from every page will be processed)
2. Click on “Delete” link in the ACTION menu bar on the right.
3. On the pop-up dialog box click on “Proceed” button to go ahead and delete image or “Cancel” button to cancel.
Images will be taken off the web. No one will be able to see them. For security reasons and to protect our users, we do not delete images from registered users’ accounts. Deleted images are stored in your Deleted Images panel (folder) and are not visible to any one including you. You can chose to undelete an image by going to “Deleted Images” panel and clicking “Undelete” button next to the image you would like to restore. Such a designs lets you undelete an image that you deleted by mistake or restore image, after you deleted it, if you ever need it to and prevents hackers, or issues with software to delete images in your account.
If you chose not to use your account any longer, simply stop using it (and it will be deleted after 6 months) or send us a Technical Support request with subject line: “Remove my account” and we will remove it ASAP.
All images’ references and account information will be deleted from our database and cannot be restored.

Imageshack slideshow feature allows you to record audio comments as audio background for images in the slideshow. Adding audio to images in your slide show is as easy as clicking a button. All you need is microphone connected to your computer microphone input. (Usually in PC’s it is the input marked with pink color, also you can use standard audio in input, usually marked in blue color) if you do not have a microphone, your standard headphone set will do. Just plug it into the same microphone input. Adding Here are detailed steps on how this works:
1. Login to Imageshack.
2. Create Slideshow or click on the Slideshows link in Top Navigation Menu to go to already existing slides how.
3. Select a slideshow, if you are modifying existing slideshow and click on ‘Edit slideshow’ link in ACTION menu.
4. On Edit Slideshow page you will see images that are located in your slideshow and options currently available. Click on ‘Add audio’ icon. If this your first time using Imageshack add audio feature, you will see “…digital signature Warning…” pop-up dialog box. Click on Run button.
5. You will see ‘Record’ and ‘Cancel’ buttons appear instead of the image for which you choose to record audio comments. Click on ‘Record’ button and speak into the microphones, headphones or if you are using a playback audio to record sound clip, simply start the audio.
6. When you are done recording. Click on the ‘Stop’ button and and then click on ‘Finish recording audio to a slide’ button (it is the one that looks like mail envelope). You may choose to play back your recording or cancel by clicking on ‘Play’ or ‘Cancel’ buttons respectively.
NOTE: In case if error message appears stating there was an error saving your recording, simply close the error message by clicking on ‘OK’ button and Click on ‘Finish recording audio to a slide’ button again.
7. Repeat the process for as many slides as you need and then click on ‘Finish Slideshow’ button (Located above the slides, to the left of preview section)
